FAAC Keydom is an intuitive, web-based access control platform designed to manage both pedestrian and vehicle access.

Keydom is offered in two primary configurations based on the size of the facility:

Keydom Enterprise: The flagship version designed for large enterprises, supporting up to 4,096 doors and 500,000 users.

Keydom Starter: (Embedded): The "brain" of the system is a Network Controller with a built-in System on Module (SOM). It supports up to 32 doors and 200,000 users without requiring an on-site PC or server.

Both systems are fully web-based: You can configure and manage the entire system through a browser on any device (PC, tablet, or smartphone) connected to the network and offers true unified management, serving as a single "backbone" for all FAAC automation products, including automatic doors, gates, barriers, turnstiles, and bollards.

The system is highly scalable, serving everything from small offices to large-scale industrial sites and public administration buildings with access points in the form of traditional PROX and PIN readers, Wireless locking solutions and Bluetooth smart credentials.

    SimonsVoss Smart Intego

SimonsVoss SmartIntego is a high-end digital locking solution designed specifically to integrate wireless locks into third-party access control systems including FAAC KEYDOM.

While many wireless locks require their own separate software and database, SmartIntego is "born to integrate." It allows you to manage battery-powered doors exactly as if they were hard-wired doors within your main security software.

The primary goal of SmartIntego is to replace traditional mechanical keys with electronic locks that talk directly to your existing IT infrastructure.

No Extra Software: You don’t need a second "locking software" to manage users. You add a person in your main system and that permission is automatically pushed to the SmartIntego lock.

Wireless Communication: It uses a dedicated 868 MHz radio frequency, which provides better range and less interference than standard Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

Gateway Technology: Wireless locks communicate with a GatewayNode, which then connects to your network via TCP/IP. One Gateway can manage up to 16 locks.

SmartIntego consists of several battery-operated components that can be installed on almost any door without drilling or wiring including Smart Handles, Smart Cylinders, Smart Padlocks, Smart Locker Locks and intelligent credentials all of which are fully integrate with FAAC KEYDOM.

    Suprema Products

Suprema is a global powerhouse in the security industry, specifically renowned for being one of the world leaders in biometric access control. Based in South Korea, they are the "engine" behind many of the world's most sophisticated fingerprint and facial recognition algorithms.

Unlike many competitors who buy their sensors from third parties, Suprema designs and manufactures their own hardware, software, and AI algorithms in-house.

Suprema is unique because it allows you to build your security system in two very different ways:

    Centralised System
Intelligence is kept in a secure room inside a controller called the CoreStation. Readers at the door function just as a reader and pass data back to the CoreStation.

    Distributed System
Each reader is its own "brain" (an IP-based terminal). This is easier to install with simple Ethernet/PoE wiring at every door, but is recommended to use "Secure I/O" modules at each point.

Readers available include multi credentials types and secure validation via facial recognition readers, fingerprint recognition readers, mobile and RFID smart credentials.

Software options include the legacy BioStar2, the newly launched BioStar X and the cloud CLUe and BioStar AIR platforms.

    PAL ELECTRONICS

    Spider-i

PAL Electronics is a pioneer in the IoT and GSM-based access control market. PAL specialises in wireless, cloud-managed gate and barrier control.

Their "bread and butter" is making existing automatic gates, garage doors, and barriers "smart" by connecting them to the internet via 4G/GSM or Bluetooth and utilising the World SIM network.

The PAL ecosystem is built around the idea that you shouldn't need a physical key, a proximity card, or a local server to open a gate. The range consists

    Smart Controllers (GSM/4G & Bluetooth)
These are small modules (like the SG304 or Spider series) that are wired into a gate or door motor.

Via the use a SIM card to connect to the cloud, allowing you to open the gate from anywhere in the world using the app or by simply dialling the device's phone number. The new spider units also allow for dual path connectivity providing an additional activation method via Bluetooth.

The range includes smart IoT devices with the option to pair additional protocol devices such as wiegand readers, RFID tag readers, loop detector and smart remotes.

Additional smart devices in the range includes the LPR AI smart camera systems and the PAL VPS video panel system for managing door entry and access control all powered via the PAL portal.

The portal is where the "heavy lifting" happens. It is designed for property managers or installers to manage thousands of users across multiple sites.

Remote Management: Add or delete a user's phone number or remote control in seconds from your office.

Time Events: Set the gate to stay open during business hours and lock automatically at 5:00 PM.

Astronomical Clock: Automatically adjusts "Open/Close" times based on sunrise and sunset for site lighting.

Unlimited Logs: View a complete history of who entered and when, searchable by name, phone number, or time.

    Comelit PAC Access Control

    COMELIT PAC ACCESS CONTROL

    Comelit PAC Logo
    Comelit-PAC-System-Overview-1024x688

Comelit-PAC is a dominant force in the security industry, formed by the 2021 acquisition of PAC GDX by the Italian security giant Comelit Group.

The "PAC" division specialises in robust, scalable access control systems, while Comelit adds expertise in video door entry, CCTV, and fire safety.

They are particularly favoured in the Social Housing, Commercial, and Education sectors for their "backward compatibility" meaning they design new products to work with wiring and hardware installed decades ago.

PAC offers controllers for every scale, from a single door to thousands across a global network.

PAC 511 / 512 Series: These are the workhorse IP-ready controllers. The 512 can manage two doors (expandable) and handles all local access decisions even if the network goes down.

PAC 212: A standalone, all-in-one controller/reader designed for small sites or residential blocks that don't need a complex server.

PAC Cubes (Mini & SE): "Plug-and-play" industrial-grade appliances that come with the software pre-installed. They are designed to run 24/7 without the IT headaches of a standard PC.

Single Pane of Glass: Integrates access control with CCTV, intruder alarms, and lift (elevator) control.

Active Directory Integration: Automatically syncs employee records from your IT database to the security system.

Event-to-Action: Allows you to create rules, such as "If a fire alarm is triggered, unlock all turnstiles and email a 'mustering' report to the safety officer."

Readers and ID Devices: PAC OPS™ (Open Protocol Security): Their high-security credential technology. It uses AES-128 bit encryption to prevent "cloning" of cards and fobs.

Architect Readers: High-end, customizable readers that can be laser-engraved with company logos or color-coded with LEDs.

Mobile Access: Allows users to open doors using their smartphones via Bluetooth or NFC.

LOCINOX GATE HARDWARE & ACCESS CONTROL

    Locinox Logo
    Locinox Venus

Locinox is the industry standard for outdoor gate and fence hardware. Their engineering philosophy is based on the "Quick-Fix" system (patented expanding bolts) and a commitment to testing every product for at least 500,000 movements before release.

Locinox is best known for its "Active Thermal System," which ensures the gate closes at the same speed whether it is -30°C or +70°C.

    Motorised Closers (Powered)

Venus: A compact, motorised pedestrian gate closer. It uses a brushless motor that acts as both the "opener" and the "closer."

Low Energy: It moves slowly and safely enough that it usually doesn’t require safety edges or expensive sensors.

App Configured: You can set the opening speed, stay-open time, and closing force directly from a smartphone app.

Back-drivable: If the power fails, people can still push the gate open by hand without damaging the motor.

Magnus: An ultra-strong motorized hinge. It looks like a standard Locinox hinge but contains a powerful motor capable of automating heavy pedestrian gates in high-traffic commercial settings.

    Hydraulic Gate Closers

Mammoth: A high-end hinge and gate closer in one. It is almost invisible once installed and can handle gates up to 150kg.

Verticlose-2: A powerful, all-round closer that can be retrofitted to existing gates. It is popular for industrial and high-traffic areas.

Lion / Tiger: Compact closers for pedestrian gates. The Tiger is a 180° self-closing hinge, while the Lion is a slim surface-mounted closer

    Mechanical & Electronic Locks

Locinox locks are famous for being 100% weather-resistant (stainless steel internals) and easy to install on various gate profiles.

Surface-Mounted Locks (LAKQ): The classic "industrial" gate lock seen on many security fences.

Mechanical Code Locks (Vinci/Leonardo): These require no electricity. You enter a code on a keypad to unlock the gate—perfect for remote perimeters where running power is too expensive.

Valentino / Volta: Their newer electronic/battery-powered locks. These allow for PIN code access without needing to wire the gate into a main power supply.

    Electric Strikes & Magnetic Locks

Modulec: A surface-mounted electric strike that works with their standard locks to allow for intercom integration.

B-MAG: A range of magnetic locks specifically designed for outdoor use, often integrated with their handles for a clean, professional look.

    Gate Safety & Accessories

Electradrop: An electric drop-bolt that automatically locks a double gate into the ground when the automation finishes.

B-Safe: A safety cable that prevents a gate from falling if the hinges fail—a critical requirement for public safety compliance.
